Cubic Chief Financial Officer Named “CFO of the Year” by San Diego Business Journal

Anshooman Aga recognized for exceptional financial leadership

SAN DIEGO, April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) today announced Anshooman Aga, executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), was named the 2019 “CFO of the Year” in the public company category by the San Diego Business Journal. In its 13th year, the CFO of the Year Awards recognizes contributions to company growth, leadership and community involvement by top financial executives in the San Diego area. Winners of the “CFO of the Year” awards were selected by a panel of independent judges, comprised of the region’s financial leaders.

Aga oversees the financial operations of Cubic’s three business divisions: Cubic Transportation Systems, Cubic Global Defense and Cubic Mission Solutions. Under his leadership, fiscal year 2018 was a record-breaking year for Cubic. Sales for the company grew by nine percent to $1.2 billion and the market cap increase was over $600 million, a 44% increase from the prior year. Cubic secured future growth by achieving record bookings and finished the year with a backlog of $4.1 billion – the highest in its history.
