Pentagon Proposes $390 Million Jordanian Border Security Program

The Defense Department yesterday notified Congress of a potential $390 million Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Jordan of Increment 2 of the Border Security Program which is being managed by DRS Technologies [DRS]. The Pentagon said that the sale would allow Jordan to rely more on technology rather than manual means to secure its borders.
