Northrop Grumman To Acquire Australian Cyber Firm

Northrop Grumman [NOC] has reached an agreement to acquire M5 Network Security, an Australia-based provider of cybersecurity and secure mobile communications products and services. Northrop Grumman said yesterday it expected the deal to close later this year pending a review by the Australian government. It did not disclose the financial terms of the arrangement with the privately held firm, but said the acquisition will not affect the company’s 2012 financial outlook.
