The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency has transitioned its “Map of the World” initiative to the commercial cloud environment, a move that will allow the map to be viewed throughout the entire intelligence community, contractor Lockheed Martin [LMT] said Monday. Lockheed Martin said the NGA become the first intelligence agency to be active on Amazon Web Services’ Commercial Cloud Services, or C2S, environment.
