Coast Guard Selects Metal Shark and Safe Boats for RB-S Competition

The Coast Guard has down selected two small firms, Metal Shark Aluminum Boats and Safe Boats International, to compete to provide it with up to 470 Response Boat-Small (RB-S) craft. Under the two phase evaluation process, the first phase consisted of an evaluation of written proposals, which resulted in the selection of Metal Shark and Safe Boats.
