Army Approves Next-Gen FBCB2 System For Fielding

By Ann Roosevelt FT. LAUDERDALE--Northrop Grumman [NOC] yesterday said the Army approved for fielding the next-generation Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) system. This Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) system developed by Northrop Grumman is intended to give warfighters significantly enhanced capabilities for battle command. FBCB2 is the key situational awareness and command-and-control system used by U.S. and coalition forces.
