Air Force Successfully Test Launches Minuteman III ICBM

The Air Force yesterday, for the second time in less than a week, successfully test launched an unarmed Minuteman III ICBM from Vandenberg AFB, Calif., according to a service statement. The service also test launched a Minuteman III Sunday. The Air Force has scheduled another Minuteman III test launch for Oct. 23, according to an Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) spokeswoman.
