The Army has received “considerable support” from Congress on its push to consolidate budget line items to more flexibly move funding for specific capability areas, the service’s secretary said Monday. “I don’t want to get ahead of those conversations…but I think there’s an openness to it,” Army Secretary Christine Wormuth told reporters at the Association of the United States Army’s conference in Washington, D.C. “I was sort of cautious about how much progress we would make in this area when…
