USAF Offensive sUAS Program Surveys Industry for Multi-Domain Comms for Drone Swarms

The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Offensive Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) program (AFLCMC/WISS) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio wants to hear from companies able to integrate low size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C) multi-domain communications and data relays on Group 2 and/or Group 3 UAS within 18 to 24 months. Group 2 drones weigh between 21 and 55 pounds, Group 3 more than 55 but less than 1,320 pounds. AFLCMC/WISS wants low SWaP-C radios, antennas, and down links…
