Thales’ Liberty Radio Receives Intrinsic Safe Certification

Thales Communications says that its Liberty Multiband Land Mobile Radio has received Intrinsic Safe certification, ensuring that the radio can be operated in an explosive environment and will not ignite flammable or combustible material. "Successful completion of the testing further illustrates Thales' dedication to providing interoperability to all users, including those working in hazardous environments," says Mike Sheehan, president and CEO of Thales Communications.
