Shield AI Touts Collaborative Flights Of Two AI Piloted Unmanned Jets

Shield AI and its partner Kratos Defense & Security Solutions [KTOS] recently demonstrated coordinated autonomous flights of two unmanned jets piloted by Shield AI’s artificial intelligence platform in airspace shared with two human-piloted jets, the companies said on Wednesday. The Kratos-built MQM-178 Firejets were piloted with Shield AI’s Hivemind software, demonstrating coordinated maneuvers during the flights in restricted airspace in Oklahoma.
