Rep. Betty McCollum (D-Minn.) is the new chair of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense (HAC-D), the full committee’s chairwoman said Monday. McCollum, who served as the HAC-D vice chair in the last Congress, replaces the recently retired Pete Visclosky (Ind.). The full slate of Democrats set to serve on HAC-D in this Congress will also include Reps.
