The Navy on Thursday awarded a pair of F-35 contracts worth nearly a combined $2 billion, according to a Defense Department statement.The Navy awarded Pratt & Whitney a $1.5 billion firm-fixed-price, incentive-firm target modification for components, parts and materials for low rate initial production (LRIP) Lot 10 of F135-PW-100 propulsion systems.
