Anduril Industries is working with prime contractor Microsoft [MSFT] to integrate the startup’s Lattice software into Microsoft’s augmented reality headset being developed for the Army to warn soldiers of autonomously-detected incoming airborne threats, enhancing situational awareness and survivability. Anduril’s portion of the effort is being led by Palmer Luckey, the company’s founder, who also founded Oculus, which makes virtual reality headsets for gamers.
