Lockheed: Q-53 Radar With Expanded C-UAS Role In Army’s IBCS Integration Plan

CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. — Lockheed Martin’s [LMT] Q-53 multi-mission radar is planned for future integration with the Army’s new Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS), a company official has confirmed.  The inclusion of the Q-53 on the Army’s IBCS roadmap follows Lockheed Martin’s expansion of the radar’s ability to conduct “air tracks” to assist with countering drone threats. “On that list is the Q-53.
