Johnson Controls [JCI] and Orsus have entered a strategic alliance to offer situation management solutions to corporate markets worldwide and to the government. For Orsus, which offers its situation management software solution Situator, the arrangement is consistent with its plan to partner with systems integrators. Johnson Controls, which provides integrated security solutions to corporate and government customers, provides its customers with a single source for turnkey installation and service of integrated security solutions. “The Johnson Controls business and approach to the market is complimentary to Orsus, as we are seeking large, multi-national and critical infrastructure type of customers to provide with centralized command and control to improve operations,” says Joel Lehman, vice president and general manager for Fire and Security, North America, at Johnson Controls.
