Boeing [BA] yesterday named Darryl Davis as president, Advanced Systems, for Boeing Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). Davis replaces George Muellner, who recently announced his intent to retire effective Dec. 31. "Darryl's extensive background in new product development, his leadership and ability to inspire others, and strong customer focus make him an excellent choice to lead this team into the challenging times ahead," Jim Albaugh, president and CEO, Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, said in a statement.
