Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $14,258,492 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00016) to a previously awarded contract (N0001919C0074). This modification adds scope to procure special tooling and test equipment in support of F-35 next generation capabilities supporting Block 4 advanced multi-channel transmission receiver cut-ins, drag chute tooling for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) participants, and other tooling to support the air vehicle delivery schedules for Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants, and FMS customer’s operational aircraft. Work will be performed in San Diego, California (51%); Fort Worth, Texas (33%); Palmdale, California (7%); Sedro-Woolley, Washington (4%); Burnsville, Minnesota (2%); and various locations within the continental U.S. (3%), and is expected to be completed in June 2025. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $5,074,711; fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $5,074,706; non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $2,166,863; and FMS funds in the amount of $1,942,212 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
