Brijot says it has deployed its passive millimeter wave body scanners to new customers in South Korea, Mexico, Ecuador, Columbia and Puerto Rico. Brijot says the expansion into Korea resulted from a referral from U.S. client DreamWorks who wanted to add whole-body scanning systems in the fulfillment center in Korea that is managed by Samsung Electronics in order to protect against data piracy and employee theft. In Puerto Rico, Brijot installed systems in Microsoft‘s [MSFT] distribution center also to protect assets from data piracy and employee theft. In Mexico Brijot’s systems are being used by Technicolor to also prevent data piracy. In Ecuador and Columbia Brijot’s customers wanted the body scanners to screen visitors and employees for any illegal contraband, drugs or weapons entering correctional facilities.
