Army Releases RFI To Inform Prototyping Plans For New Next-Gen C2 Initiative

The Army is seeking industry’s input to inform “experimentation, pilots and prototyping” plans for its new Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiative to build out a data-centric architecture with an array of vendors.  A Request for Information notice published on Sept. 30 for NGC2 follows a recent virtual industry day for what the Army has called “a system-of-systems delivering C2 capabilities at every echelon.” “The Army will continue persistent experimentation, requirements development and refinement, and demonstrations to inform future…
