By Emelie Rutherford Lead defense appropriators continued to distance themselves from supporting extended production of the F-22 fighter jet yesterday, as House-Senate negotiators prepared to battle over funding for the aircraft in the Pentagon policy bill. Senate Appropriations Committee (SAC) Chairman Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii), told Defense Daily his panel likely will not include monies for any of the Lockheed Martin [LMT] fighters above the Pentagon's 187-jet cap when it marks up its version of the fiscal year 2010 defense appropriations…
