Airbus Teams with Kratos on XQ-58A for German Air Force

Germany's Airbus Defence and Space said on Wednesday that it will collaborate with California's Kratos Defense and Security Solutions [KTOS] to field Kratos' XQ-58A Valkyrie drone with an Airbus mission system for the German Air Force by 2029. Kratos recently announced that it is offering a conventional takeoff and landing Valkyrie, originally developed as a rocket-aided rail take-off drone (Defense Daily, May 8).
