TransDigm To Sell Airborne Components Business Unit To Private Equity Firm

TransDigm Group Inc.’s [TDG] Belgium-based Technical Airborne Components (TAC) business unit on Tuesday said it has agreed to be acquired by the private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. TAC, which has about 170 employees, manufactures rods and struts for commercial aircraft, regional and business jets, helicopters, military aircraft and rockets.
