Second Front Systems, a software firm that helps other companies deliver software solutions to government and national security customers, has closed a $40 million Series B funding round that raises total investments in the company to $80.1 million. The latest funding round was led by the venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA) with current investors Moore Strategic Investors and HorizonX, the venture capital platform of the private equity firm AE Industrial Partners formed in partnership with Boeing [BA].
