A Lockheed Martin Corp. [LMT] subsidiary settled a patent infringement lawsuit. Terms of the settlement weren't disclosed, except that the Lockheed unit, Savi Technology, Inc., termed it "favorable." Savi contended in the lawsuit that AeroScout infringed Savi patents on low-frequency Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, which Savi stated provides extended battery life and improved location capabilities for active RFID devices. The settlement was reached in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
