GD Partners with Smith and Wesson to Pursue Army Modular Handgun System

General Dynamics [GD] is partnering with Smith & Wesson [SWHC] to pursue the U.S. Army’s Modular Handgun System (MHS) solicitation to replace the M9 standard sidearm, General Dynamics sai on Monday. The partnership’s MHS model will be based on the Smith & Wesson M&P Polymer Pistol platform.
