Final FY ‘25 NDAA Scraps House Plan To Establish Army Drone Corps

The final version of the next National Defense Authorization Act does not include a House-proposed provision to establish a Drone Corps as a new branch within the Army. The move to scrap the Drone Corps proposal, which was also not included in the Senate Armed Services Committee’s version of the NDAA, follows pushback from senior Army leaders on the idea.
