Elbit America Nabs $500 Million Deal To Continue Delivering Marines’ New Night Vision Devices

The Marine Corps has awarded Elbit Systems of America a new $500 million contract to continue delivering the new Squad Binocular Night Vision Goggles (SBNVG). The new deal is Elbit America’s second indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for SBNVGs, which are designed to provide Marines with a lighter system and improved depth perception. The Marine Corps is expected to place an initial $126.9 million order for SBNVGs under the ID/IQ deal , according to the Pentagon, which noted that three total bids were…
