Curtiss-Wright To Acquire BASF’s Surface Technologies Business

Curtiss-Wright Corp. [CW] this week said it has agreed to the surface technologies business from the German chemical firm BASF, expanding its current capabilities in coatings technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Thermal spray coating are synergistic with our current offering of highly engineered metal treatment services," Martin Benante, chairman and CEO of Curtiss-Wright, said in a statement.
