General Dynamics Mission Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is being awarded an $8,832,784 cost-only (no-fee) contract for capital maintenance of equipment and facilities at the Naval Industrial Ordnance Plant (NIROP) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The contract has an option which, if exercised, would increase the value of the contract to $18,737,234. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.  Work is expected to be completed by March 26, 2026. Fiscal 2023 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $8,832,784 will be obligated on this award. No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was a sole source acquisition pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(1) with one proposal received and was previously synopsized on the System for Award Management online portal.
