Accenture to Install Border Control Systems at Schiphol

The Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs has selected Accenture [ACN] to deliver 36 electronic border-crossing gates to be used at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. The new gates will feature biometric technologies, including facial recognition, to validate passenger identities and passports. The automated gates are designed to improve security and reduce the wait time of travelers passing through the airport. Accenture's partners include Vision-Box and Capgemini.
