Swiss Award Armored Vehicles Contract To General Dynamics

The Swiss government has awarded General Dynamics [GD] European Land Systems a contract to deliver 70 additional DURO Armored Personnel Carriers for the country’s Mobility Task Force (GMTF), General Dynamics [GD] said yesterday. Deliveries are set to begin in the fall of 2013 and the vehicles will be manufactured at General Dynamics’ facility in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. The DURO is capable of transporting up to 11 soldiers.
