South Korea’s Hanwha Wins First U.S. Navy Maintenance Contract

South Korean shipyard operator Hanwha Ocean recently announced it won the first U.S. Navy contract to perform maintenance on a logistics support ship. This award comes a month after Hanwha announced it obtained a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) certification, which is a necessary step in being awarded this kind of foreign maintenance contract.
