RTX Tested SM-6 Integrated With LTAMDS And IBCS

RTX’s Raytheon [RTX] business unit recently tested launching the Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) while using the Army’s Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS). The test occurred during the biannual Valiant Shield 2024 international exercise hosted by U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) June 7-18.
