Raytheon’s SM-3 On Target In Latest Test

By Geoff Fein Wednesday's latest test of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) continued to demonstrate the success of Raytheon's [RTN] Standard Missile-3 (SM- 3), and was the second positive test this month for the company's SM family. "It couldn't have gone any more picture perfect than it went last night [Wednesday]," Frank Wyatt, vice president of Raytheon naval weapon systems, told Defense Daily Wednesday.
