Raytheon Nabs Small Award for Information Assurance

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded Raytheon's [RTN] Integrated Defense Systems division a small contract to evaluate the effectiveness of an information assurance technology that helps protect against insider threats. Under the award, which is for less than $500,000 and will last six months, Raytheon will evaluate technology developed by Teknowledge Corp. that defends against attacks carried out by operators of systems.
