Quantic Acquires Small Microwave Components Company

Defense electronics company Quantic Electronics on Tuesday said it has acquired Microwave Dynamics, a small company specializing in microwave and millimeter wave components for aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Quantic is a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management. Microwave Dynamics’ designs and manufactures free running and phase-locked oscillators, amplifiers, frequency converters and multipliers, and integrated microwave assemblies with applications for air, land, sea and space.
