The U.S. Navy is using three carrier strike groups in the Western Pacific as a chance for a combined strike force exercise over the next week, the 7th Fleet said Wednesday.The Navy explained that the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76), USS Nimitz (CVN-68) and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) will conduct coordinated operations “to demonstrate the U.S. Navy's unique capability to operate multiple carrier strike groups as a coordinated strike force effort.”Pacific Fleet Commander Adm.
