Marines To Add Anduril, Invariant Systems To MADIS Air Defense Platform

The Marine Corps last Wednesday awarded $200 million contracts Anduril Industries and Invariant Corp. to provide capabilities that will be integrated into an existing mobile platform to defeat drone threats at range. Anduril will provide a “kinetic product” to defeat Group 1 and 2 threats, which are those weighing up to 20 and 55 pounds respectively, and Invariant will supply a rocket launcher for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) munition to defeat Group 3 and above threats, which…
