Ariane 5 Lofts ProtoStar I And BADR-6 Satellites Into Orbit An Ariane 5 heavy lift rocket lifted off from the European Spaceport in French Guiana, South America, and carried two satellites -- ProtoStar I and BADR-6 -- into orbit, Arianespace announced.
