L-1 Introduces HIIDE 5, New Middleware Application

L-1 Identity Solutions [ID] has introduced a new version of its handheld multimodal biometric capture and identification system, the HIIDE 5, a small, 3.1 pound unit for high-volume remote enrollments. L-1 said the unit can fit into a cargo pocket. The company has already sold more than 12,000 HIIDE units.
