General Dynamics Awarded $64 Million In Ammunition Contracts

General Dynamics [GD] yesterday said it was awarded ammunition contracts with a combined value of about $64 million for U.S. and International customers. Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island, Ill., awarded General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems the major share of the third option on a previously awarded multi-year contract for the production of 20mm PGU-27A/B Training Practice (TP), the PGU-30A/B Training Practice with Tracer (TP-T) and the PGU-28A/B Semi-Armor Piercing High Explosive Incendiary tactical round.
