Cogent Systems [COGT] 3Q08 3Q07 Sales $35M $22.5M Net Inc. $12M, $0.13 $4.1M, 0.04 Earnings nearly tripled on a 35% jump in sales and gross margins that remained at 70%, overcoming $903,000 in stock-based compensation charges. Cogent's income also benefited from a $1M settlement from Holland related to a lawsuit.
