DHS Sends Inspectors To Help Yemen With Cargo Screening

Transportation Security Agency Administrator John Pistole yesterday said the Department of Homeland Security has deployed a team of inspectors to help Yemen with its cargo screening procedures in the wake of last week's air cargo security breach involving the shipment of two concealed explosive devices on flights out of that country. In addition, Pistole said that Customs and Border Protection and TSA have also enhanced screening protocols for cargo destined for the United States and grounded packages originating from Yemen…
