Defentect and San Diego State Univ.'s Department of Homeland Security Immersive Visualization Center (Viz Lab) have unveiled a joint homeland security project, a permanent, ongoing fixed radiation perimeter system featuring Defentect's gamma radiation detection technology. The deployment is at the entranceway to the Viz Lab courtyard on the SDSU campus and serves as a real-time demonstration lab for best practices and solutions to deter, detect and defend against the transport of radiological materials.
