Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Orlando, Florida, has been awarded a $16,277,740, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00082) to previously awarded FA8681-18-C-0021 for a period of performance extension. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $1,283,629,028 from $1,267,351,288. This contract is for the Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon. Work will be performed at Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2024.  Fiscal 2022 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $5,724,329; and fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $10,553,411 are being obligated at time of award.  The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (FA8681-18-C-0021).
