Coast Guard Seeks Info on Long Range Interceptor

The Coast Guard has issued a Request for Information from commercial manufacturers regarding the production and delivery of a Cutter Boat-Long Range Interceptor II (CB-LRI-II) that will deploy from the service's National Security Cutters. The CB-LRI-II is a multi-mission asset supporting ports, waterways and coastal security, search and rescue, drug interdiction, alien migrant interdiction operations, living marine resources, and other law enforcement and national defense missions.
