Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for existing, fully developed and integrated unattended ground sensor (UGS) technology systems that the agency would deploy along the U.S. southwest border to improve situational awareness. The agency plans to utilize UGS to enhance agents’ ability to detect, track, identify and classify illegal incursions. CBP has no plans to develop any of the UGS and intends to make maximum use of an open systems approach. Sol. No. HSBP11RFIUGS. Respond by April 20. Contact: Nicole Hubby, [email protected].
