American Science & Engineering [ASEI] has received a potential two-phase, $15.5 million contract from a U.S. government agency for continued maintenance of a fleet of Z Backscatter Vans and parcel X-Ray inspection systems. The first phase of the contract is funded at $7.6 million. The contract includes service, support, spare parts and labor warranty for ZBVs and parcel systems located in high-risk areas overseas.
