Army Soliciting for Mini-EOD Robots

The Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center has issued a Request for Proposals for up to 112 Mini-Explosive Ordnance Device (EOD) Robots. The Mini-EODBOT will provide the dismounted EOD technician with a capability to perform reconnaissance during extremely hazardous EOD missions involving unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices. The Mini-EODBOT and operator control unit must be easily stowed in a standard military rucksack for dismounted operations. Sol. No. W91CRB08R0047. Respond by June 12.
